Pastor Williams states that the mission of the Communication Department is to keep the Northeastern Conference Constituency informed, to improve the image of the Conference and to expand the kingdom of God.  He believes that these three websites will help the Communication Department  do just that. NortheasternCommunication.org, RadioNEC.org and NECTV.org.

NortheasternCommunication.org was designed to distribute news and information.  Every registered member is free to submit news events 24 hours per day, without any intervention from anyone. The news submitted is posted immediately, and everyone from Buffalo to Brooklyn, Hartford to Harlem can be informed immediately on what is going on in our local churchs.  This has never been possible before now. 

According to Pastor Williams, many churches are doing wonderful things in their communities, but nobody knows about it.  Because we do such a terrible job of communicating, most of what we do, is now done is secret.  He is hoping that Northeastern Communication.org can change all that.  Each Communication Leader, Elder, Pastor, Church Clerk, Webmaster, Radio Personality, Journalist, Photographer, Videographer, IT and Audio Visual person can register, get authenticated and then start posting news, stories, sermons, video, photographs, events and more, thus letting others know about your events, free of charge.  After registering and being authenticated, one simply has to log in and choose the link, create content, then choose the kind of content which will be event or story in most cases, then cut past and submit and it immediately appears on the first page.  No html, programming or any editing expertise needed, it is all cut and past.  This is possible because of the content management system which organized, and arrange the date /   Thousands of people visit the site each week, and this is expected to dramatically improve when the Conference community as a whole learns about theses sites.

Radionec.org is a 24 hour internet radio station, that is designed primarily to target the I phone, Blackberry market, this is the most powerful tool that exist for reaching people today.  Only facebok.com has more reach than the Iphone, blackberry devices which outreaches, radio, TV and Newspapers presently.

Nectv.org is a 24 hours video on demand service.  Pastor Williams sees this site as a place where all Conference training, soul winning video and the likes can be placed.  He looks forward to the day when all Departmental Directors will use this site to send information to all the churches so everyone can be trained and informed. 

 The challenge of these sites is to gather enough content to keep them viable.  To achieve this, the Communication Department is  dependent on all the Pastors and churches sending  spiritual content.  Sermons, stories, news, movies and others which are of a soul winning nature are desperately needed.  For all suppliers, the Communication Department will setup an FTP account, so items can be uploaded directly to a server, and the Communication Department can just pull them and post them.   I foresee the day, when our young people will use their talents to create soul winning movies, and programs which will be designed to reach their peers said Pastor Williams, then I believe we will reap great harvest for souls.
