On Sunday, February 2, 2020 South Brooklyn SDA Church Community Service Department held a men’s winter clothing & coat drive. We were blessed to have had the opportunity to serve over 100 men and to our surprise most of the clothing was gone in less than an hour.  We continue to serve lunch weekly and take time to encourage and pray with the homeless men who visit the church. South Brooklyn SDA Church is located directly across from the street from the Atlantic Men’s shelter .  

Several of the men expressed their appreciation, but, truth be told each of us were blessed even more. One attendee asked to join the team and another asked to be baptized. South Brooklyn SDA church appreciates Dr. Keicha Gosling, executive director of the Adventist Community Services Center who worked closely with us and donated several men’s coats for the drive. We look forward to God’s continued leading as we share His love in tangible ways.
