Health Ministries – William Miller Farm Excursion

William Miller was a 1800’s writer, lecturer, preacher, justice of the peace, anti-slavery activist, and captain in the US Army at the battle of Plattsburg, NY during the war of 1812. At this home and farm there are many artifacts of that time period. William built his home and farm upon retiring from his military life 1815. He is best known for his revivalist preaching that Jesus was going to come during his lifetime. The site includes the farmhouse, various farm buildings, and Ascension Rock.
