On Sunday November 20, 2022, a group of Adventist leaders met with Mayor Eric Adams at his home to discuss the Seventh-day Adventist role in aiding the City of New York. This group was comprised of representatives from Northeastern and Greater New York Conferences, respectfully. It was led by Dr. Allen Martin and the NEC PARL department. Our focus was to discover ways the Adventist church can led in causes surrounding health, affordable housing, and education. Several departmental directors met with city agents to coordinate follow meeting in their respective fields. We had a prayer of consecration for the mayor and both conference presidents spoke words of support and collaboration. We praise God for the opportunity to witness and allow the Three Angels message to be spread as well as stand with our sister conference, Greater New York.
