June 20–28, 2025 — Under the theme “Outpour: The Power of Pentecost,” thousands of Northeastern Conference members gathered to be empowered to advance the kingdom of God. Through powerful sermons, uplifting music, relevant Bible study sessions, and fervent prayer, people from all walks of life came together in fellowship, renewing their commitment to serve God and their fellowmen.
Dr. Eldeen C. King, President of the Northeastern Conference, shared his heartfelt vision: “My desire is for the Conference to be on fire with the power of the Holy Spirit — that members would receive a fresh anointing, shackles will be broken, and lives will be mended and set free.”
Inspiring messages were delivered on the Sabbaths by G. Alexander Bryant, President of the North American Division, R. Clifford Jones, Dean of Religion at Oakwood University, and youth speakers Pastors Michelle Mota-Poyser and Ndubusi Nwade, who challenged and encouraged the congregation to seek daily the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
Six Pastors Ordained to the Gospel Ministry.
On Sabbath, June 28, 2025, in a solemn and sacred service, six pastors were ordained. Administrators from the Atlantic Union and Northeastern Conference were present to preside over this special occasion.
In his charge to the ordinands, Dr. Ron Smith, President of the Southern Union Conference, encouraged them to remain faithful in prayer. “Trust the Lord and use your power; and your power is prayer,” said Dr. Smith.
Commissioning Service for Educators from Northeastern Adventist Academy.
On June 21, 2025, the first Sabbath of Camp Meeting featured a special Commissioning Service to honor and dedicate those called to serve in our educational system.
Dr. Eldeen King, President of the Northeastern Conference, admonished teachers to make prayer a daily priority. He encouraged them, saying: “Pray before you teach, while you teach, and after you teach. Let prayer be the atmosphere of your classroom, the anchor of your decisions, and the source of your strength.”

Throughout the week of Camp Meeting, nightly services were held at Community Worship Center, featuring former pastors from the Northeastern Conference. Each message was filled with hope and powerful reminders of how we can receive an outpouring of God’s Holy Spirit.
A major highlight of this year’s Camp Meeting was the celebration of the Northeastern Conference’s 80th anniversary. Members who are also celebrating their 80th birthdays were honored with special citations of commendation to mark this historic milestone.
On the Sabbaths at Camp Victory Lake, attendees enjoyed a Heritage Hunt, with displays showcasing key moments and significant contributions from the rich history of this regional conference. They also experienced the Mental Spa hosted by the Health Ministries Department, enjoyed giveaways from Women’s Ministries and Adventist Community Services, and shared their cherished NEC moments with the Communications Team.
Featured musical artists included Odayne Rhoden & the Aeolians from Oakwood University, along with gifted musicians from throughout our territory who enriched the services with their melodious talents.
Attendees expressed that this year’s Camp Meeting was truly exceptional, and many are eagerly looking forward to the upcoming celebrations marking the Northeastern Conference’s 80th anniversary.
