The Northeastern Conference Adventist Community Services (NECACS) Center is a religious, non-profit organization which serves as the humanitarian arm of the Northeastern Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.

It was established on April 9, 1972 as a community center that provided relief to those in need of emergency assistance (food, clothing, furniture and housing, etc.). After closing in 2003 for a short period of reconstruction, on June 17, 2013 the Northeastern Conference reopened the doors of the center.

The Center carries out its mission of “serving the less fortunate and hurting, using Christ’s Method.” The mission is realized through the implementation of several services designed to meet our clients and customers’ felt needs. This is done through relief, restoration, and community development.

At the NECACS Center, the following services are offered: food pantry, clothing closet, educational classes (free English classes), and volunteer opportunities. The center is vibrant and futuristic in outlook. We therefore plan to conduct the following: comprehensive lifestyle trainings & classes, individual and family counseling, and the tutoring and mentoring program.

The hours of operation are:

  • Mondays through Wednesdays, 11:00 am – 6:00 pm
  • Thursdays, appointment only

We Need Your Help. Together We Can Transform Lives.

Volunteers are an integral part of our work, so we are always looking for friendly and dedicated volunteers.  Volunteers are needed to assist with our food pantry; skilled volunteers (carpenters, plumbers, etc.) to assist with renovations, graphic designers to help design flyers, and licensed health professionals to administer our health screenings and cooking classes.
