November 16, 2024. Over twenty churches in the New England South territory participated in the Convocation held by the Northeastern Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. The Conference administrators and departmental directors preached in churches in that region for the divine worship service, and in the afternoon, everyone assembled at the Faith Seventh-day Adventist Church in Hartford, Connecticut.

In his remarks, Dr. Eldeen King, President of the Northeastern Conference, highlighted the significance of the annual convocation and asserted the commitment of the personnel at the Conference headquarters to impact our churches positively. Dr. King said, ‘It is important for members to enjoy good spiritual experiences and to build relationships. However, more importantly, we must be cognizant of the times in which we live and fulfill our mandate, which is to prepare the world for the return of Jesus Christ.’
Dr. King also emphasized the need to preach the distinctive doctrines God gave us, and he challenged the churches in South New England not to become comfortable doing “status quo” ministry.
The members testified throughout the convocation that they were spiritually renewed and empowered to carry out God’s work in the New England South.
