LITTLE HANDS , BIG FAITH – YOUNG HEARTS FOR JESUS!

The year 2025 has been a joyful and unforgettable one for the Northeastern Conference Children’s Ministry! Two major trips brought our children together in faith-filled learning, fellowship, and pure delight:

Our March journey to Sight & Sound featuring the story of Noah, and our August ‘Summer Adventure’ to Holiday Hill.

Sight & Sound – March 2025

In March, families and children from across the Northeastern Conference boarded buses filled with excited chatter and anticipation, headed for the renowned Sight & Sound Theatre in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The stage production of Noah was nothing short of spectacular. With breathtaking sets, lifelike animals, and powerful storytelling, the children were completely captivated. Many said it felt as if they had “stepped right into the Bible.”

Parents and leaders alike were moved to see our children not only entertained but deeply engaged with the biblical message of obedience, faith, and God’s promises. The trip sparked conversations about trusting God even when others may not understand—a lesson our young people can carry into their daily lives.

Here’s to more adventures ahead as we continue to grow together in Christ!

Holiday Hill Summer Fun – August 2025

Then in August, we traded the theater seats for sunshine and adventure at Holiday Hill in Prospect, Connecticut. This all-day summer outing was filled with laughter, games, and team-building activities. From swimming and mini golf to arts and crafts and friendly competitions, there was something for every child to enjoy.

Children’s faces lit up as they raced from one activity to the next, making new friends and creating memories that will last a lifetime. Many shared that this was “the best summer trip ever,” while parents appreciated the safe, Christ-centered environment that encouraged fellowship and fun.

Coordinator’s Reflection

Mrs. Hernandez, Northeastern Conference Children’s Ministries Coordinator, shared,

“This year has been such a blessing. Watching our children learn, laugh, and grow together in Christ has been the highlight of my ministry. Serving them is an honor, and I’m excited to see how God will continue to shape their hearts in the years ahead.”

Building Faith and Friendships

These two special trips reflect the mission of the Northeastern Conference Children’s Ministry:

To nurture our young people in their faith while providing spaces for joy, community, and personal growth. We thank our dedicated leaders, volunteers, and parents who made these events possible. Most of all, we thank God for the opportunity to minister to His precious children in ways that touch both their hearts and their imaginations.

On behalf of Children’s Ministry, we want to thank the Northeastern Administration for their commitment to Children’s Ministry and for the financial support that makes these trips/programs possible. Mrs. Hernandez, for planning these activities, and Ms. Daveisha Augustine, for assisting with the Children’s Church at Victory Lake Camp & Convention Center.
