Breath of Life Fellowship’s Healing Table series was off to a strong and meaningful start with its May 2, 2026 session, “Mental Illness: What It Is & What It Isn’t.”

The gathering provided attendees with an opportunity to engage in open dialogue, receive practical insights, and experience genuine connection in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Participants left encouraged and better equipped to navigate conversations surrounding mental health with greater compassion, clarity, and understanding. The session helped reduce stigma while creating space for honest reflection, shared learning, and community-centered support.

The series was led by experienced professionals, including Dr. Tichianaa Armah, Chief Psychiatry Officer at Community Health Center, Inc., and Nathalie Rodriguez-Marshall, LPC, Director of LINC at Mid-Fairfield Community Care Center. Their leadership brought both clinical expertise and heartfelt community care to the conversations, making each session informative, accessible, and deeply relevant.

Building on the momentum of the first session, a second session was held on “Mental Health: Rights, Resources, & Real Talk.”

Through The Healing Table, Breath of Life Fellowship is helping create a safe and supportive space where mental health conversations can be approached with honesty, compassion, and hope. Open to the public, the series reminded the community that healing often begins when people are willing to come to the table, listen, learn, and support one another.
